East Dulwich Planting Scheme

An update to a previously designed garden. Replacing stunning standard Magnolia trees following storm damage, and updating planting throughout to add in additonal colour and year-round interest. 

After several trees were felled nearly, by the heavy clay soil had become very wet, meaning many of the plants were struggling. replacing planting with those suited to wetter conditions gave this already beautiful garden a new lease of life. Key plants used were: Heuchera, primula Valii, Mixed ferns and three statement tree ferns. A stunning red Acer adds real impact to the start of the long border.
